Walker Crips’ York office opens doors for local charities

10 May 2024

Walker Crips Investment Management has announced the opening of its boardroom doors to local charities. In a steadfast commitment to supporting local charitable organisations, the York office of Walker Crips has launched its latest initiative aimed at providing valuable resources to the community.

Building upon the success of a trial project earlier this Spring, the investment manager has opened its doors to several local charities every Friday. Walker Crips recognises the importance of offering a supportive environment for charitable endeavours. The initiative seeks to assist charities during transitional periods such as office relocations or trustee meetings by providing a conducive space for their activities.

Alan Kinnaird, Business Development Manager at Walker Crips Investment Management, emphasised the significance of the initiative:

"Our 'open-door Fridays' initiative for local charities offers a complimentary space for up to twelve charity trustees, complete with light refreshments. The response from local charities has been overwhelmingly positive and we are proud to support their vital work in the community."

Alan also commented: “With a firm commitment to fostering partnerships with local charitable organisations, Walker Crips looks forward to continuing its support through initiatives like 'open-door Fridays' for years to come.”

Anyone with an interest in using their office to host regular meetings with their Charity Trustee Board can contact Alan Kinnaird on 020 3100 8130 or email him at [email protected]
